This article was a challenging one to do, not only because of the subject matter, but because it hit close to home. The homeowner in the story, Ashley Tremblay, is a close family friend and seeing what she and her son and father went through and the devastation and destruction the fire caused was difficult to witness.
But Ashley’s been a trouper. She was more than accommodating in being interviewed and written about and I’ve been impressed watching her resilience in the face of such a life event.
While they lost virtually everything, no one was hurt and they are slowly rebuilding their lives. They are expecting to break ground on their replacement home this spring.
